Plaid cotton stockings.

This set of stockings was custom made for a customer who had sent in a photo of a very similar set. She requested plaid stockings in red, black, brown, and white colours for her family of four, which included two sons (she specifically stated "nothing girly"). 

I picked up fabulous fabrics and got straight to sewing!

Each stocking is unique with its own plaid colours and patterns and has a different solid coloured cuff.

The most unique feature about these stockings are the name tags! I locally sourced out these beautiful birch wood slices and wrote out the names of each family member in a stylish cursive font. I love that this personalization is different than the typical embroidered name on the cuff. In addition to the wood slices, a natural pine cone adds beautiful rustic charm.

All stockings are fully lined and double stitched to prevent stretching and help retain their shape.
